Arielle & Ryan | Lake George NY Proposal Photographer

Ryan wanted to plan the perfect surprise proposal for Arielle so we started planning a few month ahead of the big day. He knew he wanted a great view but wasn’t sure of the exact location. That’s where I came in! I gave him a few options but once I showed him photos of the beaches in Lake George, NY, he knew that was the place he wanted. The bonus was being able to bring his dog, Rex, along as the pretense for going to the beach (Rex is a cancer survivor so treating this extremely handsome boy to a little beach time was a amazing).

The next important thing for Ryan was ensuring that Arielle’s son, Mason, was included so I texted grandma as soon as the proposal was starting and they joined us at the beach right away. Mason stole the show for the family portrait portion of the session.

This happy dance makes me speechless (and maybe a little misty eyed). The last part of any of my surprise proposal sessions is a 30 min mini engagement session. I love doing them now because the excitement and love is so apparent in every photo (so dreamy!)
