I am lucky… very, very lucky when it comes to my clients. They are the most amazing and wonderful people. However, for 2014, I have to say that John & Jessica were one of my top three favorites. They were a great couple from their engagement session to the their wedding day. The love and fun that just radiated from them was evident everywhere.

Here is a flash back to their 2013 engagement session at Byrdcliffe Theater in Woodstock, NY.

Almost a year later, we arrived in Woodstock, NY to photograph their barn wedding. They spent their pre-wedding and wedding night at the Hotel Dylan. A cute little woodstock concert inspired hotel just minutes away from downtown Woodstock.

When it was time for the ceremony, we headed just minutes away to the Byrdcliffe Barn. The Byrdcliffe Barn is maintained by the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guild, an art guild in Woodstock, NY.

I’m not going to lie… it was hard to keep the tears in when I saw this on the other end of my lens.

I always say I learn something with every client I photograph… with John & Jessica, I learned that you can tell the kind of people you are working with by their friends. And to say that this was an amazing, kind and fun group of people is a serious understatement! I wish you both years and years of happiness!
