Tess and Andrew had an absolutely beautiful wedding day in the north Lake George region at the Adirondack wedding barn, The Barn at Lord Howe Valley. Their white, champagne and green wedding colors were the perfect compliment in every way to the rustic charm of this wedding venue.
The bride and groom chose to get ready in the gorgeous bride and groom barns on site… this was just perfect for me since they chose to have me as their sole photographer for the day.
Tess had a special gift for her father… one said had his favorite bible verse and the opposite had her wedding date.
Tess really wanted a first look with her girls… Love this!
And how gorgeous is this bride and how amazing is this dress?!?!!
Andrew’s getting ready…
Tess gave Andrew a journal that she had kept over the many years of their relationship. The final entry was done the morning of their wedding day. Talk about desperately trying not to cry while taking photos.
Andrew’s guys did a prayer over him prior to photos.
They let it slip that he had a haka-esque chant that he did and I couldn’t not have him do it for photos!!
They opted for a first look at the wedding barn.
We grabbed a few bride and groom portraits right after the first look but opted to save the rest of their romantic portraits for later in the day.
Then it was time for them to become Mr & Mrs!
They planted and watered an olive tree during their ceremony. What a sweet custom.
