Mitch and Olivia tied the knot at the Lodge on Echo Lake. Their love for the woods and hiking meant that it’s Adirondack lodge feel was a perfect place to share the celebration with their family and friends. Where do I start with this couple? It’s not every day that a client says that no matter what we do for their engagement session it has to include climbing a tree. Or how I found out Mitch spent a good part of his  life barefoot because, I suspect, he just likes the way his feet feel when they aren’t confined but he has a degree in neuroscience. Olivia loves handstands and cartwheels… which really are just a testament to how beautiful and free her personality and spirit are. Then you add in their friends and family… hands down… amazing people. So that brings me to their day.

I was so delighted to see that Olivia picked The Posie Peddler as her florist. They created some of my favorite arrangements of the season! See below for just how beautiful their bouts, bouquets and arbor was!

CAKE by Alissa is one of three bakers I’ll recommend to my clients. She did not disappoint with their cupcake table! I had a hard time limiting myself to just one photo of her delicious desserts.

Mitch’s grandmother baked the couple their cutting cake. They added in this custom cake topper that showed exactly what they love to do as a couple (their furbaby and all).

DJ Andy Pratt kept them dancing all night and check out that light show!!
