Chris and Jenni decided on Lake George Battlefield park as the backdrop to capture the first part of their love story with YM Photography. We were rewarded with a beautiful sunset and the kind of day where a walk on the beach is mandatory. Plus they were just so natural together… I can’t wait to see what magic we capture at their wedding next year!!

These two met in high school math class. Fate seated them near each other and then Jenni did the rest when she asked Chris on a date (she said he was taking too long). I have been seriously blessed this year with amazing couples, many of whom have known each other for a majority of their lives. That whole high school sweetheart thing really gets me in the feels.

I have to make a special note about this groom-to-be. I send out these emails with suggestions about looking at blogs and online for inspiration, etc… and this is the first time I have ever had a groom say “We like this (or that) pose” or “I was going for the <insert movie name here>” feeling”. By the end of the session, he was calling out poses and as a wedding photographer… this couldn’t have made me happier!!
