It’s rare that I get to work with a groom but AJ was tasked with finding the photographer. After spending some time chatting on the phone and via email, I knew this couple was one that I’d love to work with. Add in that they were having a barn wedding at Lord Howe Valley, a rehearsal at Fort Ticonderoga and the most beautiful coordinated wedding details… this all added up to a dream wedding for me.
The couple decided to stay at a private rental that they nicknamed “Camp Two Trees” for their pre-wedding stay. With a gorgeous view of Lake George, it was the perfect place for their getting ready and first look.
It touched my heart to see Chelsea’s dad put her veil in.
AJ restores vintage Land Rovers and wanted to make sure this hobby was included in their first look.
AJ’s dad didn’t know it yet but he was actually his son’s best man.
The florals by Country Florist and Gifts in Ticonderoga, NY were beyond gorgeous!
The bridal barn at Lord Howe Valley is absolutely stunning!
Chelsea’s bridal purse was made from her mother’s wedding gown!!
AJ and Chelsea decided to include the Adirondacks into their wedding day with a custom trail box and custom mugs for their favors. Each table at their reception was named for national parks.
Their sense of adventure was limitless as they shared a look at their future travels with their guests. How amazing is this?!
One of my favorite wedding shots is this one… that moment right before the bride gets her first look at her husband to be… Chelsea is just stunning as her father walks her down the aisle!
