A PHOTOGRAPHER’S WEDDING DAY via Gilmore Girls | YM Photography | Adirondack Wedding Photographer

After binging on ‘A Year in the Life’, I had to do something to honor my Gilmore Girls obsession and be able to post about it. So here we go… a tongue-in-cheek look at my day as a wedding photographer through Gilmore Girls’ gifs.

Packing up and prepping my equipment…

 

When I don’t have time to stop for coffee on the way to the wedding…

 

When I arrive at a gorgeous venue with amazing places to photograph formals…

 

Seeing the bride for the first time on her wedding day…

 

When it starts to rain on the wedding day…

 

When the second shooter arrives…

 

When a guest steps into the aisle and blocks the couple during the ceremony…

 

When the dad gives the bride away…

 

That moment when someone from the bridal party or family starts suggesting poses or locations that I know will be awful…

 

Going through my mental lists of what still needs to be photographed half way through the wedding…

 

Knowing I got the perfect shot during formals…

 

When guests think they are being sneaky by taking photos during formals behind my back or over my head (I mean literally over my head)…

 

Waiting for dinner…

 

When it’s finally break time and we get to eat for the first time in 12 hours…

 

When that one guest walks onto the dance floor to take photos of the first dance… completely blocking my shot…

 

What I feel like during the first dances…

 

When the DJ plays a song I like while photographing the reception…

 

When the 8th person of the day says “You can photoshop me thinner, right?”

 

When it’s time for the second shooter to leave…

 

When that one groomsman is trying to joke around at the worst moment possible…

 

After I’ve taken the last photo of the night…

 

When the couple tells me what a good job I’ve done…

When I get in my car and leave…
