I am continuing to work on my backlog of blogging and decided with the cold and snow… we all needed something to brighten our day. This beautiful backyard wedding in Hudson Falls, NY should do the trick!

If you’ve ever driven through Hudson Falls, you know “THAT” house… the one with the blue flowers. It’s gorgeously maintained with amazing gardens and at certain times of year the lawns are a field of blue. The flowers only stay for a short time but the owners have built the gardens up to a point where they are gorgeous on their own. So when I got a call about doing a wedding at this private residence, blue flowers or not… I was in heaven!

Yes, I was absolutely teary eyed when dad saw his baby girl in her wedding gown for the first time!

There were so many beautiful sentiments in the preparation of this wedding… from the place settings used at her own mother’s wedding to the flowers done by the bride’s sister and the cake by the groom’s co-worker… makes me a little teary just remembering the love flowing that day.
