Weddings are amazing, exquisitely planned events that all boil down to a day of completely unplanned, spontaneous moments. For real… couples spend up to a year planning their perfect day and yet, on the day of, the florals could arrive late, the maid of honor could be deathly ill or the bride’s hair takes just a little bit longer than normal. But that’s okay! As wedding photographers, we deal with this at every single event… seriously… EVERY SINGLE EVENT something doesn’t go quite as planned. That’s just the nature of live events and we’re okay with it. 

After binging on ‘A Year in the Life’, I had to do something to honor my Gilmore Girls obsession and be able to post about it. So here we go… a tongue-in-cheek look at my day as a wedding photographer through Gilmore Girls’ gifs.

‘ve been dying to photograph at the Takk House in Troy, NY so I was completely excited when Gleb and Jen chose me as their wedding day photographer. These two had so much personality and were so easy to work with that it made my day!

I was lucky enough to photograph at the amazing Wild Center in Tupper Lake for Nathaniel and Kinga’s September wedding. I really wanted to showcase their beautiful first dance and formal images. I seriously love these!

I’m in love with the revitalization efforts happening in many areas around Albany especially in downtown Troy, NY. All the amazing businesses and events popping up along the riverfront especially catch my fancy. So when Daron and Margaret chose Troy as the backdrop for their engagement session… I was all for it!

Today, I am sharing the Saratoga Springs, NY wedding for Eric and Liz. They chose the beautiful new Embassy Suites as their pre-wedding and reception location with their local church holding the ceremony.

Tom and Melissa chose the beautiful Mabee Farm Historic Site in Rotterdam Junction for their gorgeous barn wedding.

When a client let’s you choose the location, the time and gets your input on clothing choices… the result is an amazing engagement session like Bryan and Remi’s at Thatcher Park in Voorheesville, NY.
