It’s taken me a while to write this blog post. Not for any other reason than knowing that I was blogging my last wedding of the 2018 season and that is very bittersweet for me. It’s fitting that I should end this amazing season “up the road” from my hometown, Bolton Landing, at the beautiful […]
To write about this amazing Saratoga Springs Weddng, I have to start with the couple. Matt & Casey are just one of those couples that makes you feel happy when you are around them. They definitely get this from their amazing families who were just as wonderful. Casey’s mom set up an entire hotel room […]
Ethan & Allison’s wedding is a bit dear to my heart as Ethan’s parents are my high school science teacher and Soccer coach. Okay, so I also might be a bit biased about my hometown, Bolton Landing. While I was photographing a wedding down the street, their day was documented by a YMP Associate Photographer. […]
James & Tricia fell in love with the Sagamore Resort when they visited Lake George with friends. They knew it was the perfect venue for their lakeside fall wedding. And I couldn’t agree more!! Tricia’s beautiful dress and perfectly chosen details = ❤️ Their beautiful centerpieces and bouquets were by Surroundings Floral Studio. A few of […]
I feel in love with the Barn at Lord Howe Valley from the moment I saw it’s opening day add. Once I photographed my first wedding their I was hooked. That kind of also explains how I feel about Anthony & Jessica. Talking to them pre-wedding I knew they were my ideal kind of couple… […]
Sydney and Jill lakeside wedding at the Lodges of Cresthaven and The Boathouse Restaurant was the perfect choice for a early fall wedding. With amazing weather and a gorgeous sunset, their intimate wedding was a perfect day they can remember for the rest of their lives. There is nothing more iconically Lake George than a […]
Colleen and Paul chose a beautiful Adirondack Wedding Barn as their wedding day backdrop. Nestled in the heart of the Southern Adirondacks, Burlap and Beams was the perfect choice for their summer wedding. In April, we chose the 2019 Adirondack Wedding giveaway winners, Ally and Liam. Ally and Liam chose Springbrook Hollow Farm Distillery in Queensbury, NY as the backdrop for their engagement session. […]
Erica and Trevor chose the 1925 barn in Hudson Falls, NY as a hometown wedding venue. They had sunny skies and lots of sunshine for their sunflower inspired country wedding.
When I decided to move to my hometown of Bolton Landing, it was the beauty of the Adirondack Mountains and Lake George that drew me back. There are times when I miss the busy hustle of the DC area but then I’ll see a beautiful sunset or a mountain view that leaves me feeling like this is exactly where I need to be.
This was especially the case when I met Michael and Kelsey at Kelsey grandparents’ house for their engagement session. The gorgeous vista views of the mountains and the wooded area that Kelsey played in as a child added the perfect backdrop to their engagement session. It amazes me that no matter how long I live here, I always find some location that is even more beautiful than the last.
